Do you want to dedicate to creating sustainable business growth for Corbion? As our Key Account Manager EMEA based in The Netherlands, you will formulate, execute and manage marketing and sales to strengthen our handling of key and large accounts in Home/Personal Care in EMEA region

As our Key Account Manager EMEA the main responsibility is to strengthen and grow the key and large accounts in the appointed field and to strengthen Corbion’s competitive position in EMEA. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Direct responsibility to maintain and grow existing and new accounts in the appointed area
  • Prepare innovative and specific account plans for medium and long-term growth
  • Find new business opportunities and drive the opportunity pipeline to achieve our mid-long term business goal
  • Establish and Maintain effective relationships with customers by gaining their trust and respect
  • Negotiate contracts, provide sales & technical support to customers with the support of Industry teams
  • Execute market and sales strategy at specific accounts in EMEA to maintain and grow sales
  • Understand competition in the market and secure the business by increased market presence


In this role you will participate in Industry Team initiatives (including budget, advertising, product development and industry events) to promote Corbion recognition in the market. As our new Key Account Manager you are required to travel throughout Europe and are preferably based in The Netherlands. You will report to the Sales Director Central and North Europe

About you
Your educational achievements are in the field of Chemicals and/or Commerce. As the successful candidate for the position of Key Account Manager EMEA you must also have:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in business to business environment in or Home/Personal Care industry or in Specialty Chemical
  • Experience in (Technical) Sales Management
  • Experience in Key and Large account management
  • Working experience in multinational companies
  • Experience in managing distributors and business partners
  • Strong customer focus and result oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • German language skills would be beneficial
