Mechanical Engineer

Within the team of specialists, you are an important key player in ensuring that our customers' printing presses function optimally. Besides installing new printing presses, you will also be responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the continuity of our printing presses. During the installation of new machines in Europe, you are the specialist who ensures that the installation goes according to plan and to the customer's satisfaction.
In your work, you exploit the latest technologies and always strive for innovation. In addition, you maintain contact with the customer; after all, you are our ambassador.
Install Komori presses at customer sites in line with work schedules and customer installation requirements, liaising closely with the Project Engineer and other members of the installation team.
Respond to technical requests from customers, making appropriate diagnoses and suitable recommendations to resolve technical queries/issues in a timely manner.
Carry out pre-planned service interventions.
Refer to comprehensive reference documentation, in addition to assistance from other members of the service team to overcome any difficulties.
Accurately report on each assignment, providing full details of the actions taken and outstanding requirements.
Skills, education & job requirements
MTS equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in a technical role
Flexible, if necessary working in the weekend
Experience in working with Office 365 and Salesforce is a plus
Willingness to work away from home, for example during installations.
Willingness to work overtime on a regular basis.
Fluent language skills (both verbally and in writing) in Dutch and English.
